Halloween Corset Completed.
Not gonna post any details right now. I might amend this and post some later, but I am tired and not up to it at the moment. Here are some pictures of a sample corset I just finished. It is out of a cotton quilting fabric and moleskin. It is for sale... $150. I will post details later. |

First Leather Corset completed
I finished my first leather corset on Saturday, August 22nd. I was surprised with how easy it went together, until the binding that is. It is made in three layers. The fashion being a purple calfskin leather (I can't remember the weight and details), the support layers were my standard of duck canvas (10oz) and sanded twill. It has five panels, sixteen 1/2" spiral steel bones, four 1/4" flat steel bones, and 26 nickle grommets. It also has a 12" spoon busk and fan lacing. I also made matching collar, leash, and wrist and ankle cuffs. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, Hahns ( more pics ) Current Mood: accomplished |

My first complete outfit...
Here are some pictures of an outfit that I just completed. The corset is about a 27 inch waist under-bust corset. It has a front zipper, four 1/4" flat steel bones (either side of grommets), sixteen 1/2" spiral steel bones, 18 nickle grommets, waist tape, and is made in three layers. The fashion layer is a combination of a blue plaid cotton (with blue and silver accent threads), and a white leather-texture vinyl. It has a matching skirt with two attached garters, and a matching "four-in-hand-tie" (not pictured). Not sure about price yet... think around $250-300. I am going to make another one to match, but in red and black plaid with black pvc. x-posted Current Mood: accomplished |

I haven't just been twiddling my thumbs...
This journal appears as if I have been doing nothing for the past oh so many moons, but I have actually been rather busy. So far, Hahns Across Your Body Corsets has completed about 61 custom corsets, and anywhere from 10-15 others. We are also finally filed as a business in Oregon. If interested, check out my site ( hayb-corsets.com) to see some other examples of my work. Thanks for your time, Hahns |

Most recent corset and new favorite...
Here are pictures of a corset that I just finished. It was inspired by this patent ( here from 1884. It is made in three layers, and has a mixture of 3/8" spiral, 1/4" spiral, 5/16" flat boning, and hemp chord for support. The customer chose the fabrics, and I was very impressed with how closely she matched them. I appologize for the poor quality of the pictures, but I could not find my camera, so I had to use my camera phone. Here they are... let me know what you think. Right now we have about 5 corsets in planning/construction. I updated my Yahoo! photos with pictures link here. Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to take pictures of the corsets before delivering, so... there are a few corsets that we have made that are not shown here. Please let me know what you think. Hahns |

New professional pictures.
I received some new pictures from a model, Jasmine Worth, that I gave a corset to last year. She did some new work with a photographer that goes by the name Darkman. She sent me the pictures with full privileges to post and use them. So, here they are. I hope you enjoy. ( The rest behind here ) |

Another update.
Here are pics of two new corsets my wife and I have finished recently. The first is a blue and gold corset made for my wife, and the second is a dark violet burgandy that was made for a customer. This corset is made in two layers (cotton fashion fabric and duck support layer). It has a 14 inch gold studded busk, twenty 1/2" wide spiral steel bones, and four 1/2" wide spring steel bones. The pattern is my own design and the wrap is my wife's design. I will try to get some pictures of her in it soon. Here are the pics (click on pics for index of images) The next corset is one we made for a customer. It is made from a dark purple burgandy royal velvet. It is made in four layers (velvet, interfacing, duck, cotton lining). It has sixteen 1/2" spiral steel and four 1/2" spring steel bones. It has an attached modesty panel, and six attached plain garters. I wasn't overly happy with the fit of the hips, but the rest looks very nice and she is very happy with it. Here are the pics Hope you like them. I am sorry for the lack of editing on pics, but thought you might like to see them anyway. Hahns Current Mood: accomplished |
